Acts of plagiarism are violations of academic policy and will not be tolerated. In this regard, the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations 2018 for “PROMOTION OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY AND PREVENTION OF PLAGIARISM IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS”, notified in the Gazette of India dated 23rd July 2018, mandated the assessment of academic and research work done leading to the partial fulfillment for the award of degrees at Masters and Research level, by a student or a faculty or a researcher or a staff, in the form of thesis, dissertation and publication of research papers, chapters in books, full-fledged books and any other similar work, reflects the extent to which elements of academic integrity and originality are observed in various relevant processes adopted by Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
The Central University of Rajasthan is committed to academic excellence and integrity in teaching and research. All the University members (students, teaching and non-teaching staff) must have a responsibility for establishing and maintaining academic integrity and ethical behaviour. Any type of academic misconduct will be dealt with severely. In this regard, the University framed an Academic Integrity and Misconduct Policy to ensure a fair and consistent approach to dealing with plagiarism.

For the service, the library subscribed to TURNITIN, a plagiarism prevention service that detects textual matches between student papers and other documents available in electronic form on the Internet, in subscription databases, and in databases of student papers.
